Sit ups are a valuable exercise that have gotten a bad rap over the years. Not only are they a good abdominal exercise but they are also great for overall strength and conditioning. I have all my clients do them.

squatting technique

Their is a lot of controversy in power lifting over squat depth. It is no big secret what constitutes a full squat. A squat that was considered "legal depth" in the 60s or 70s should be what is still considered a legal squat in power lifting competition in 2010. People can fool themselves but a full squat is still a full squat and activates the most muscle tissue.
